Sedgefield Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Sedgefield Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1926. The course was desigened by Donald Ross.
Sedgefield was built on rolling terrain and has plenty of trees lining its fairways. There are water hazards (creeks) that come into play on some holes.
On September 22, 2007, Sedgefield Country Club's famous Donald Ross Golf Course reopened following a major 10 month, $3 Million restoration project which has transformed the golf course back to how Donald Ross intended the course to play, while taking into consideration the changes in golf technology and turf grass development over the last 50 years. The restoration of the Donald Ross 1926 classic design has positioned Sedgefield Country Club as one of the premier private country clubs in America.

This is a very beautiful course. I am new to the area and joined b/c the club was so nice and beautiful and close to my home. I had an eye awakening experience playing a club this challenging! I am finally getting my HC back down to a respectable range.
